Problem Identification

A quick short survey proved that at least 60% of people would run for their calculators if faced with a Mathematical question even if it is as simple as 99 x 23. All 100% of the people surveyed were interested in learning how to calculate within 5 seconds including 20% who wanted to learn so that they could theach their children. Even though 70% have heard of Vedic Math, they haven’t found a good enough source to learn it from. All 100% said it would help them remember a subject if they played a related educational game after it. In fact the concept of an educational game combined with the whole learning process was very appealing to most.

Simply put a lot of people are “afraid” of math and the reason they are so, is because they found it difficult and it was something that they “had” to do versus something that they “wanted” to do and we all know the basic rule for success in learning any subject is really wanting to learn it and enjoying the subject more than anything.

My solution to this problem is introducing a larger audience to Vedic Math which is a more simplified and easy way to calculate Math problems by creating a web site with tutorials on Vedic Math and related Math games to keep the learning mind alert and challenged.
